Overview
The CAPToR Seminar Series is a biweekly event that brings together leading researchers, clinicians, and innovators to share insights into the biology, treatment, and therapeutic development of chronic pain. Organized by Dr. Tyler Nelson of the Rajesh Khanna Laboratory, each seminar features a guest speaker presenting on a specialized topic—from ion channel pharmacology and neuroinflammation to AI-driven drug discovery and translational models. These sessions foster interdisciplinary dialogue and keep the CAPToR community engaged with the latest advancements in pain science.
Hosted on the University of Florida campus and open to faculty, staff, students, collaborators, and invitees, the seminar series serves as a cornerstone of CAPToR’s commitment to education and collaboration. It provides a consistent platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and strategic alignment across departments and institutions. As the center grows, the series will continue to evolve, incorporating new themes and expanding its reach to broader audiences.
